Hi Gavin,

>>I've found a number of issues with V6.0 where its error handler comes up for >>no apparent reason and I've also had an error message appear in German !!!.

Could you send me the message. The Foxfire! codebase has localization code built in and what has happened is one of German strings got swapped in instead of the English string when we ran through the build process.

>>One specific error I've found is if you edit a field in the data dictionary, >>hit F2 on the expression and invoke the expression builder then click on the >>expression builder button, code an expression then hit ok, the >>message 'Alias '????????' is not found' appears.

I've repro'd this. Thanks for the report. Will fix immediately. All fixes will be posted immediately on our website.

>>Another problem is if you have an ask at runtime filter option set and the >>field is also an index then a @ appears when running the request. Hitting the >>backspace brings up a browse of values for this field. Hitting F2 brings up >>the expression builder. This totally baffles the user.

The data dictionary now has an "input mask" field and a "format field" in place of the old @get input picture clause field. Could you check in the data dictionary to see what's in these two fields. Did you upgrade? Perhaps the upgrade left an "@" in one of these fields.

I don't think this is occuring because the data item is a index.
