Any variable you set in the startup .prg should be visible to all forms you call from there, therefore if you say X=10 in the startup you can later reference X in the 3 forms. I believe you can also put functions & procedures in the startup .prg, if not create a separate .prg for them and use SET PROCEDURE TO in your startup.
