The EULA on the Visual Studio SP 3 CD says:

1.1 General License Grant. Microsoft grants to you as an individual, a personal, nonexclusive license to make and use copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT for the purpose of designing, developing, and testing your software product(s). You may install copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT on an unlimited number of computers provided that you are the only individual using the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. If you are an entity, Microsoft grants you the right to designate one individual within your organization to have the sole right to use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT in the manner provided above.

According to the above paragraph I can install the product on as many machines as I want...as long as I am the only user. If more than one person uses the product, an additional copy must be purchased for each additional user.

I am a one person shop. I have two office computers and a notebook (for design and development). Each has a copy of VFP 6.0 installed. I am the only user, so I am legal. Right?

>>>
>>>I believe this is not correct anymore. Microsoft has changed their licensing to per seat, rather than per concurrent user. This means that you need a license for each person that could potentially use the application.
>>
>>How is that different than what I said? You cant take a single Visual Studio Pack and install it on more than one machine.
