Do you mean VFP crashes less often than Access? Or do you perhaps mean that VFP hits locking conflicts less often? What kind of stability are you referring to?

Have you compared speed with Access/MSDE instead of Jet? Do you have numbers to back up your assertions? BTW, I'm not a VB or Access programmer -- I'm just curious about how you arrived at those conclusions.
