>>I found out something interesting today. I was working in a different directory and decided to try filer to see if it would work. It worked. I changed the directory to the one I had tried earlier and got Insufficent Memory. Apparently it has something to do with the number of files in the directory. I currently have my tables, libraries, programs, etc all in one directory. Guess I may need to do something about that.

I think you might find it easier to separate out your files. I keep all my dbfs in a DBF directory etc. I have directories DBF, SCREEN, PRG, RPT, LIB, MENU. I keep my project in the DBF directory so that I don't have to set any path to run the app.

I think it would be a good idea to separate the files as you suggest. This is the first app I wrote (working with a consultant that was learning Fox as well). We didn't learn until later that we should separate the files. The app is used to run our company payroll and has grown considerably since it was first implemented 3 1/2 years ago. I'm going to work at trying to get the dbf's all into a separate directory later this week, perhaps that will solve the problem. Thanks again for you help.
