The "**************" usually means a skipped parent record in a result set where there is more than one child record for a parent. The "*******" replaces the parent record fields in the second and subsequent child row. Do you have SET SKIP ON or have you filtered to cause the same effect?

>Hey guys When I download records from the sql server I notice that a few records come down with asterisks sometimes. This throws off my report totals by increasing the figures. Sometimes when I select * from the downloaded cursor and print the report from that cursor it prints the right firgures(the asterisks would be gone). This does not work all the time however. Also I select the same records all the time and the records with the asterisks move all over it doesn't occur at set record(s) every time. I using Visual FoxPro 6 Enterprise Edition to download the records.
