First, I assume you mean the "divide by zero" patch from Microsoft (click on "Files" link to the left, then Search for "patch"). This patch is a little tricky to apply; if you have the default FPW2.6 from MS, you first have to patch it to 2.6a, then apply the speed-fix patch as mentioned above. One easy error to make is to forget to set the executable/runtime to read-write from the default read-only file attribute.

Other people have reported problems running FPW2.6 apps and certain other apps on their computer simultaneously. If the other app is started first, the FPW app won't load. If the FPW app is loaded first, the other can be loaded afterwards. I don't recall seeing any fix for this issue, other than to ensure that the FPW app is always loaded first. You could search messages over the last 9 months or so for more information on this.
