I know there's a fine line between trusting someone and paranoia, but i think i'd have been a little wary about this. My first thought was that this person had just swiped your RAS connection ID and password. (ex: He could only have been more obvious my saying, "Hey while you're here, mind if I trick you into giving me your password?"

But maybe since i've become firewall administrator while i'm developing a payroll/accounting application i've become overly security conscious. *g*
