Don't know whether I'm talking sense here, I'm just getting into Foxpro & querying, but instead of manually selecting 100 records, couldn't you do it in the select statement :
select top 100 ....

Would this technique work ? Would it have any impact on response time, in either direction ? I'd be interested if anyone could let me know, as I may need to do something similar in the near future.
