I'm having trouble configuring Performance Manager under Win2000, but I'm recording the amount of memory in M in System Monitor under Win98. What I'm seeing is that the allocated memory number increases slightly everytime I run my 3rd party communication application. After loading and unloading the comm app 5 times, I tried to Shutdown, but got an error in VxD something or other. The screen went blank and I had to hit the power switch and go through a scan disk and a nasty message about correctly shutting down. This seems like a memory leak. Do you concur, or is there something else I should evaluated before I report the problem to the vendor?
