Good day to all,

Since the last time i've posted a thread regarding the file protection and encryption. Thanks for the answers and suggestions.

I'm now using Cryptor from Xi-tech it is very powerful and effective in encrypting a file(s) or dbf.

We are now at the middle implementing our newly created local remote system for oil company. We use VFP as our primary language with this project. But most commom error we encountered files are being corrupted during a power interruptions or the computer was abnormally terminated or was hang and you need to reset the PC. This is now the time that we notice our files was corrupted and receiveing errors like "Illegal Operations". From now we're doing is to validate the database then recover the files. Is there any way to prevent this scenario? with out using UPS?

Any Help will be appreciated?. :)

Regards
Reymund
