Hi, DF!

For me, I have totally different thinking, I disable all FORM closable, movable, minimize, maximize button..
and give a stand command button at the right bottom corner to quit the system.. (\<Quit) Underline Q
I also disagree ppl to key-in Escape to quit form, why?
Sometime, especially editing data in Grid, if wrong key in and want to change back to Original Value..
Press Escape.. it also work even at Browse Command!

So, I [taught] user to press ALT+Q to quit form.
Besides, sometimes I need to unsure update some cursor even quit or query unload for another..
It will be normal to give a button.click to do so! It don't waste too much screen space,
why not put is visually!? If simply click the [X] right top close button to close form...
I afraid there may missing cleaning job..

Anyway, the above is just my habit only, There still many roads to the same destination!!
The weak wait for chance, The strong bid for chance,
The clever notch up chance, but The merciful give you chance.
