About the Drivers SQLSetConnectAttr failed.

Does the connection handle return -1.
Becuase it is usually some Remote Data Property in the preferences...Like for exmaple Asyncronous
execution.

or some property in the ODBC setup it doesn't like.
For exmaple in The ODBC setup.. Make sure that Buffer Size is not at a silly value:
the default is 65535.

And maybe

You could trace the call with ODBC tracer in the Control Panel ODBC Administrator to see what is happening....


I have been having troubles with mine..And it was because I had clients
for 7.3,8.0.5 and 8i installed as well as oracle lite.
So I had 4 oracle homes on my machine and the driver couldn't figure out which one to use...
I guess. Still haven't solved it...

PS. Is the Server textbox in the login prompt the Net8 Service name or is it the name of the server that holds
the database?

This is the Net8 Service (at least that's what I use..)
