yupyup... seems the hubby was right despite my $.02 worth, I am better on the tree than he is. Granted that .5 light was in part due to an extreme nic fit setting in after getting hassled in the lane lineup < g > Now if I just stop working so much, he might actually get to be strictly the mechanic and let me do all the driving.
>I fired up the new roller motor (finally) this weekend, and something broke. I couldn't hear it because of open headers, so I don't know what it was, but the new motor is coming right back out. I have been in an extremely bad mood since Saturday morning. And probably will be in an even worse mood when I find out what broke.
yeah that's the PITA with open headers. Even with our race boat engines we always had a pair of monster bassett headers we used only at design time (LOL!) and never slapped the zoomies on until run time when we had everything purring. Sorry to hear you broke something... I always tell Richie "If you have to go looking for the problem then it could be worse (ie - big old hole in the block where a piston left loose). Any chance you maybe thru a rod? We did that with our first roller cam cuz we didnt measure lift right (i think, been awhile).
