Erik,
I can imagine the foul mood.
Perhaps this little story will make things better... <g>
A family friend owned a VW shop. One of his employees had tricked out an engine in anticipation for an off road machine. I think it was somewhere around a 1700cc job when he had put the new barrels and such on.
Anyway, Tom and I were standing in his shop looking at this mangled motor when he told me the story. His employee had spent a ton of time and effort and was ready for the first time ignition of the new engine.
Fired it up.
Thump thump thump
Decided to goose it.
Forgot that the motor wasn't bolted down (just resting on the workbench...
Bad move.
Too much torque.
Engine flips and lands on concrete.
Engine stops.
Employee speaks French for five minutes.

>I fired up the new roller motor (finally) this weekend, and something broke. I couldn't hear it because of open headers, so I don't know what it was, but the new motor is coming right back out. I have been in an extremely bad mood since Saturday morning. And probably will be in an even worse mood when I find out what broke.
Best,
