IF you are deleting everything out of a table, try using TRUNCATE TABLE instead of DELETE. It's the SQL Server equivalent of ZAP.

>Are you familier with some of the server side params on SQL Server for example i am currently running a delete query over 5 million rows in a table just deleteing everything on MySQL and other SQL servers i have used like postgress ect.. it was always instantaneous for a query like that SQL server tends to take a year and a day any ideas???
