I looked into solving a similar problem some time ago. I had decided to use an ActiveX control from Mabry (
http://www.mabry.com/rasx/index.htm ) that seemed like it was going to do just what we needed. That part of the project got shelved so I can't say from direct experience just how things might have ended up. They do have a sample copy you can check out before handing over your money. Then control itself is only $59 and for a little more, they'll even sell you the C++ source code.

>I have a situation that I am having a difficult time dealing and was wondering if anyone had encountered the same situation or had some suggestions. I have a local NT server and 15 remote stand-alones. These computers have naturally no ISP\internet connections nor does my client want them to have. The only allowed communication from or to these computers must be directly between them. The only idea that I could come up with was a RAS connection, but I am having a very difficult time fully automating a dial up connection and file transfers. If anyone has any controls or approaches that they would like to recommend I would be greatly appreciative.
