Andy,
>Gotcha.. I've just never had a taste for alcohol though I can think of one or twice, on a really hot day, a beer tasted pretty good. Just don't like the effects.
>Here in Utah there is a LOT of pressure against alcohol of any sorts, though there are, from what I've been told, some VERY GOOD micro-breweries. I think a lot of the pressure is a waste of time. People who want to drink will so do no matter what.
Is the pressure coming from the Mormon religion?
>I've seen a LOT of people's lives hurt & ruined as a result of alcolhism and I guess I dislike alcohol for that reason as well.
Yes. I've seen it first hand in my family.
>Still, I'm glad you enjoy it so much. I have a real weakness for apple juice and Welch's Grape Juice. <g> I can drink a gallon in just a few minutes. Does that count as an addiction? *bg*
I don't drink at all, only about once a month. I actually don't care for the taste alcohol. But I will on occasion have one.
set soap box on
Like most things, alcohol is neither good or bad, it's the responsibility and maturity of the person drinking it that matters.
set soap box off
Cheers :)
