I've done import into quickbooks of general ledger account lists, checking account transactions (checks and deposits) and various general ledger entries.

The ".iif" format is somewhat documented up on the Quickbooks site (sorry I don't have the link at my current location). It's not too difficult, once you catch the concepts.
