I must protest, because golf has been very good to me. I once was a dumb 8-year-old chasing down golf balls as my uncle hit a couple of hundred 9-iron shots at the bucket.

He took a break to talk; I took a break to sit down and wait. He resumed, but I didn't -- until his first shot landed right on top of my head! Instant 1" bump. And the rest is history -- my ascent to genius, etc. :-)
