>I have a Visual Basic control that I created in Control Creation edition 5 that I am running in a VFP 5.0a application. I have a user currently that gets the OLE error 'class not registered' about once a day. If it happened every time that the VB control was used I would assume that the control was registered incorrectly. Since it is not happening everytime I thought I would ask and see if anyone has any ideas on this.

One possible explanation would be if under NT 4/Win2K where segments of the registry were restricted by userid from even being read; this is a SWAG.
