Actually a scramble can be alot of fun. Every scramble I've ever played in at least a couple of shots were contributed by the weakest player.

I played baseball in high school and had the opportunity to play some jr college ball.... I was way too smart for that, though... Got married and joined the Marine Corps instead... :-)

I thought it was ironic that I happen to notice this post today... Yesterday I shot a 79, which is the first time I've ever broken 80. I started playing 10 months ago, so I'm really thrilled to be playing as well as I have been. In fairness, I have to confess that I play 18 holes every day, so it's really like I've been playing for several years. (Like I said above, addictive like heroin... I wasn't kidding! lol )
I have to also admit that drinking too many beers, hitting a grapefruiit sized ball with a telephone pole, and running around in circles sounds like a hoot. (I think some friends of mine play in a local league where you are only allowed a certain number of home runs per game... What's up with THAT?) lol
