Isn't it hard to find a white golf ball in the snow? But if you hit it straight down the fairway and the snowplow just finished clearing a path, I guess you could find your ball.

I used to play on sand greens in SD in a cow pasture. But I became a good golfer because I learned to place my shots where the cow pies weren't.

I was better at knocking balls in gopher holes than in golf holes. Did you ever lose your ball in a gopher hole. At least in FL we don't have to worry about gopher holes on the golf course, only alligators and snakes.

My neighbor got a permit to go alligator hunting last season and now has his own alligator head and feet mounted on his garage wall. Because his wife won't let him mount the parts in the house. Too bad. What fun is that.

I think I'll watch. Gator hunting is not for me.
