WinInet has nothing to do with it. AFAIK, You cannot programmatically close a RAS session without having the handle to it, and you get the handle by initiating the session yourself. Check out wwIPStuff at
www.west-wind.com; it has wrapper methods for the functions needed to dial and hang up a RAS connection.
