My apologies, I should have spelled it out more..
In the form init()
THIS.SHOW
READ EVENTS
And in the QueryUnload()
CLEAR EVENTS
Works just fine. Remember however that a PRG is still the recommended way of instantiating an application.
>>You can put the READ EVENTS in the init event of the form, but the PRG is the recommended way to go..

>If you put the READ EVENTS in the Init of the form, you'll never see the form.

>>>Is there a way to run a form in an .exe without a startup .prg so that the form runs on the windows desktop and appears in the taskbar? The DESKTOP property is set to .T. and the SHOWWINDOW property is set to 2 ("As Top-Level Form") but it doesn't work unless I specify READ EVENTS in a startup program and call the form from that. Any ideas?
