I need to enable the view menu when I issue a CREATE REPORT OR MODIFY REPORT within a distributed EXE. My users are not used to using menus so the application issues a SET SYSMENU TO in the startup process to turn the menu off. I have put together a tool to allow the users to build their own query's and then create a report using CREATE REPORT which pops up the report designer. The problem is that the toolbars for Report Controls, Report Designer, and Layout are not displayed, and the View Menu option is not there for them to select these toolbars. I tried doing a SET SYSMENU TO _MSM_VIEW and SET SYSMENU TO _MVIEW, but all I get is the VIEW pad on the system menu, but it won't drop down the menu when you click on it. The FORMAT and REPORT menus show up and work fine all by themselves. What do I need to do to get the VIEW menu to work also? Thanks
