How do you run an ASP in Outlook?

>I first wrote a small COM object, registered it on the server, and then ran it from the ASP page using the CREATEOBJECT function. What I got back was IUSER_VIPER where VIPER ios the server name.

ASP by default uses the internet user account, which is IUSR_MACHINENAME. Username is not transmitted with a normal web page hit, as it is considered protected information- and so is unretrievable from an ASP without special client side processing (like an ActiveX control).
