Ok, here goes...

I've got the Palm IIIe SE, the one with the translucent case. I've got the hankering to change its color. For one, I think the lid would be really cool in a rasbery sort of color, and if I can crack the case (VOIDING THE WARRANTEE) I would like to color that as well.

I think the lid would be suffecient, but hey! its easter, I need to do up the palm! : )


So the basic question is...
How do you color plastic?

I was thinking about using a marker on the inside, but that seems wrong somehow.

I also thought about heating a vinagar / food coloring solution and immersing the lid for twenty minutes. Hoping to stain the color on.

Any thoughts, ideas, or advice.
And remember, its not your palm. :)
