I used my first memo!!!! Too bad it doesn't want to work.

I have a memo field for keeping track of multiple line notes for a record. On the form I have a
multi-line edit box that is assigned to the memo field. It accepts data just fine. Then several lines
down I get an error when I try to save the record

STRING IS TOO LONG TO FIT

what is that all about? I thought memo fields were almost infinite in length and scope? Suggestions?
