Jim mentioned a listbox. I have not done it with a listbox, but with a combobox I am doing it by finagling with DYNAMICCURRENTCONTROL property programmatically to set the selected value as the textbox value on leaving the cell. If I remember right, it took me a lot of trial and error to get it to work acceptably. Don't know if this will give any direction in your case.
