Bruce,

NS6 PR1 will show you if you are a real good HTML coder. Whereas IE 5 will pretty much ignore your deviations from the HTML 4.0 standard and render the page 'as it thought you wanted it', NS6 will leave your mistakes there and render it as such. My lack of following the exact HTML standard is going to cost me, I have to redo virtually every page on our web site. My biggest problem was all of my -form- -/form- declaractions we not clearly within a
-td- -/td-, so my West Wind pages are not recieving the form variables (nothing on Rick, totally a mistake in my HTNL coding which IE 5 let me get away with).

It seems to support CSS better than IE, so once again you will have to take the browser version into account in your code while building your HTML pages. I just wish NS would die - their new version supports 'skins' like the MP3 players, so they have introduced even more garbage to worry about. The whole presentation is a bit much for me, I think IE is still tops in the browser wars, IMHO.
