We have a FPDOS2.6 system running and certain users have had brand new PC's that don't have standard PC Speaker output (only sound through the in-build soundcard).

In the system we use CHR(7) to produce a beep, but obviously this doesn't work in the new machines.

Does anyone know of a way around this?
