Here's something else that's cool about using IE: it can support (I'm not sure if I am using the correct term here) ActiveDocument applications. These include things like any of the MS Office products (if they are installed on the users machine). For example, if you have Office installed on your machine and pass the URL of a Word document on your local drive, it will run Word within the IE control! ex. oIE.Navigate("file:///c:/mydoc.doc")

>Cool, I put a DO WHILE checking for a readystate = 4 in my form init(). I don't get an error now. For a check I put a counter to see what was happening. What happens is at init I do a navigate. Then I put the do while in there to check for ready state. It iterates like 2500 times and then exits the init method. Thanks for the message pointers. Is there some documentation for the web browser control somewhere or did you just muck around with the control to figure out the behavior?
