Just a thought, Novell Netware has a NET.CFG file that has a requirement for a FILE HANDLES= setting which overrides the DOS FILES= setting. Does Lantastic have any such configuration file and settings? Also you might check to see that SHARE is installed. I've also run into such an error when running FPW apps and the user forgets and runs the app twice, not noticing it was already running in another window.
