I know this doesn't help yo now, but it may have been a compatibility issue with some files IE installed and your SP files. Whenever I install a new piece of software that mucks with the OS core files, I always say No to the Restart, reinstall the SP and then reboot the system. Even though the SP takes awhile to load, I figure it has saved more time than it has cost.

I probably would have answered yesterday except I was having problems of my own. My ISP's DSL network (or just my node) was down for 16 hours yesterday :-(.

>>I had a bad IE5 install on my NT machine today. It went fine until the Restart, but now it boots up to the point of the NT Logo, and stops. A LAN tech said it will probably call for a scratch NT re-install, but I thought I'd ask here to see if anyone has any better ideas, like some key combo that might get me past the Logo. My repair disk doesn't help, and the few NT CDs are locked up somewhere. The LAN Tech doesn't think the CD will help this, anyway.
