I had the same problem. Currently I am solving it by leaving out the control from the form. Then using code, I try to

ThisForm.AddObject('OleControl','OleControl','Imaging.EditCtrl.1')

If unsuccessful, then I

ThisForm.AddObject('OleControl','OleControl','WangImage.EditCtrl.1')

This seems to work for me, though we haven't tried this at clients yet.
