>Unless George has reconsidered his decision not to pursue writing a VFP API book, I have a proposal...
Erik,
First, while I haven't re-considered the book idea, I am, with the assistance of a co-author (who shall remain unnamed unless he wishes otherwise) working on something in this area.
What I'm will to say is this: It will cover more than just the API, and more than just VFP. Originally, I had envisioned a document of less than 100 pages on these topics. My co-author says, "Nope! More like 300-400 pages".
At any rate, we've drawn up and agreed on an outline, but, at the moment, that's all. More or less, this is something we'll be writing in our spare moments (the preceeding is, of course, an oxymoronism), so there's no hard schedule for release etc.
If someone else wishes to go ahead and do something on the API, it's fine with me, but I'm committed to this project.
George
