This one has got me baffled:

Using VFP 5.0 under NT 4.0:

iIf I open a table that doesn't belong to a database, and issue the command "NumFields = AFIELDS(laField)", the value of NumFields is a string, not the value that AFIELDS is supposed to return!

AFIELDS() DOES work if I type "?AFIELDS(laField)".

I'm doing all this in the command window.

Any one hear of this?
