Okay, fresh NT/LAN apps install completed (after an hour or more), LAN Tech left after installing Outlook2K/IE5, saying everything should be fine now, just log in after Restart. This time I have installed nothing, so we know nothing is the fault of any of my stuff :)
1) I click on IE5 icon, it flashes and dies.
2) I click on a number of things, get Explorer.exe Dr watson error. From experience, after a few of these, the machine will lock up.
3) I guess they haven't fixed the IE5 install problem yet.
Arghh! Back on the phone to LAN...I will mention Larry's SP idea for next IE install.
