A browse _in_ a screen? Never seen that. 99% of the work I've done has been with VFP5, though. I avoid the old DOS code whenever possible. :)
The reason I found out about what BROWSE can do is that I was trying to track down the "columns is not an object" error that pops up occasionally in the SBT pick list. It turns out that they make the BROWSE respond to grid commands, then in the WHEN event they call another procedure that right aligns the columnn. Unfortunately, the column they were feeding the procedure was #7 and there were only 6 columns in the browse!

>Yeah, take a look at some older SBT code... That was all there was before grids. And it was a real treat to implement a browse into a screen! I tell ya, the kids these days just don't know how bad the old timers had it <bg>.
