The built-in, and easiest info to store from an option group is either the caption of the option selected or an integer for the option selected. If you want to store something other than either of these, then you have to code it yourself. I'd recommend doing this in the Valid of the option group. Keep in mind that if you want to do this, you also have to have code somewhere like the Init that sets the option button based on a translation of the value from the field.
