Hi All,

Is there an easy way to replace characters in a field "conditionally"?

Example: converting data from a new client where all data is upper case to mixed case using PROPER. Returns "P.o" for "P.O." in some not all situations. I now need to find these and other inappropriate conversions (SW-Sw, US-Us, etc.) in the street field and replace them with the appropriate characters. It can probably be accomplished by using the AT command to find an occurance of offending text and storing the positions and then replacing same. Is there an easier way? Is it possible to use the String fuction ($) with the replace command somehow to accomplish this? TIA.

Regards,

Paige
