>We are using vfp6 on an NT network and have been unable to get the SET PRINTER TO command to work for us. We have tried filling an array with printer names using the APRINTER() command and then using the SET PRINTER TO NAME command with one of the pritners in the array. We get no functional change. The printer still prints to the default printer. Is there a trick to this that we are missing?

Search today on the UT for a thread called Duplex Printing

We talked about a topic that may be your answer...

I use VFP SP3 on a win98 network with NT server. I use set printer to name often in my applications and have not had problems...

Are you clearing out the 'default' settings of the reports when they are modified in the developer environment?

you can check this by:

Backup your work first...

use myreport.frx
browse

** look in the tag, tag2 and expr fields

VFP automatically places printer information from the default printer of the developer when any report modification is made. You can use a program to remove the information from these fields for all reports in a project...
Thanks,

Stacy
