>>How have you found running W2K with 64MB? Do you plan to add more memory?

I wouldn't imagine running Server with less than 128MB but it's encouraging that Professional runs ok (if not great) in 64MB.

I'm intrigued by the Compaq iPAQ machine. For $564 you get Win2000, a 500 mhz Celeron, 64MB of 100 mhz SDRAM, 4.3 GB disk, and CD-Rom drive. (No monitor or modem at this price.)

Another 64MB is $110 more.

I know the rap on Compaq is the proprietary design and components. But I mostly leave my computers alone and just program on them. I've owned two other Compaq's and the only failure I've experienced is a CD-ROM drive.
