>>>Ahhh- the main project program. We're just speaking different tongues. Except my main file is bolded, not marked with a dot. Oh well. I just tried what I think you suggested. I move my old project files to a different directory, create a new project with the same name, added my 'main' file and rebuilt the project. No help. What I am confused about is that I can open the project as a table, but not as a project. Should I append all the records from the old project file into the new one? What about the .pjt memo file? Any advice you can give will be much appreciated.

>>What did you get after you built new project? Basically, foxpro goes by links from main program and collects all file/links into project table. Does 'No help' mean that new project is again 'corrupted'?

>No, the files just weren't added to the project. I'm not sure I understand how the main program is at all linked to the other files. All thatmy main program really does (besides cleanup) is instantiate the application object and issue a READ EVENTS. How does it know what other files should be in the project?

Main program may contain something like DO FORM form1 or DO mainmenu.mpr or SET PROCEDURE to sysproc, so Foxpro will grab this items, check them, find other items and so on. Sometimes, these items called using macros and then Fox cannot find them.
