We just got developer server, and I am setting up a test web site for deployment. I made the foolish mistake of reading the instructions. When I try to create an instance of the service, (command line: ifsrv60 -listen 9000 -install persdata tcpip ) nothing happens. If I skip the -listen switch, I get an error message telling me I must have it. The switch is not in the instructions!
According to the instructions, the next step is to modify the service in Service manager. But, there is no new service to manage. Any help/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
