The problem is the need for NBT (NetBIOS over TCP/IP) with Win95. The easiest thing to do, since you don't have a WINS capability, is to either create an entry for the Win98 box in LMHOSTS, or install a second protocol for the LAN like NetBEUI (do not expose to the internet!!!!)
