>As long as you have all the necessary SPs on-hand, and weant all the trash software, and Compaq's partitioning options, etc, etc, etc. If you've got Ghost, or DriveCopy, just blow an image once things are configured. DriveCopy also has a SID fixer, which avoids some nasty security issues when blowing out images of an NT bootable partition.

It was for thier home machines (used by the wives, kids, dogs, cats) so I just left them the way they came, and installed a some additional software they bought (mostly games). Compaq has a built-in cloner that lets you create a image of the current drive (just a compressed copy on the drive). You can restore from that image using thier CD.

Works great, I set it up, give them the CD, and send them away. The kids install some game that blows up the install (which used to happen about once every 2 months) and they just reclone it. No worries.

Thanks.
