>> Has anyone had experience with running VFP apps under Microsoft Terminal Server?

I've used VFP with Citrix Metaframe, which is a great add-on to terminal server. There are a number of good Citrix related topics on the wiki. Plain vanilla Termical Server isn't that great -- Citrix adds a number of features like a wider array of network protocols, configurability, better local printing services, better client clipboard services and, as far as I can tell, faster throughput.

It depends on server RAM. Count on needing 30 to 60 Mb per user on the server, depending on the response time you require. I've heard of Citrix boxes doing just fine with 20-30 concurrent and active VFP clients.

The real benefit is old Win 95 machines perform very well in a Terminal Server environment because all that's transmitted is screen scrapes. The quality of the video card is usually more determinant than the speed of the client CPU...
