http://fox.wikis.com/wc.dll?wiki~CategoryMicrosoftCertificationThe best practice, other than several years of experience, is to read the materials on the wiki, compare your skillset to the test outline, and fill in the gaps by studying and creating your own samples. Doing something instead of reading about how to do it.
For the Distributed test you should have access to an NT server so you can create your own VFP automation servers, gain experience with MTS and DCOM configuration, and all the other things that are listed in the official test outline.
